Sydney North Shore Gutter CleaningSydney's North Shore took longer to settle than the Southern shore,
its rugged landscape meant it was not as appealing for early settlers
with their agricultural requirements. In 1932, with the completion of
the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, access to the Sydney CBD was no longer
difficult and the North Shore began to develop. Today the district is commonly split into two sections the Upper North Shore and Lower North Shore. Because of the landscape of the North Shore, it in time became popular for housing which could be nestled away in quiet, peaceful surroundings of bushland but still maintain close access to the CBD. Many of the early settlers who had the means to do so, built large residences in amongst the trees and bushland on the North Shore. This style of building has continued right into modern times allowing the native bush and tress to be very close to most houses on the North Shore. Trees near houses, while being atheistically pleasing, has one consequence: leaves in gutters. Therefore most houses and buildings on the North Shore need regular gutter cleaning to remove the build up of leaves in the gutters. Many houses have decided to install Gutter-Guard, or some other form of roof and gutter leaf protection, to help keep the gutters clean. Gutter-Guard can be easily installed and reduces the amount of leaf build up in the gutters and downpipes. Such gutter and roof protection does not completely do away with the need to clean the gutters, but certainly reduces the frequency and the time and effort needed for each clean. North SydneyThe
